Just wondering if theres anyone locally that may have an air filter for sale (ie. Blitz, Hks )

Local is Aberdeen to me, I`ve got a number for an HKS one going to check tonight, silly question but would yours fit on MY93 WRX jap import??

Don't think so. The filter we have is for cars from 03/94>98.

I'd recommended going for a cone, had a replacement panel in my old wagon but it never seemed to do much. After fitting the cheapie cone (£30 off Ebay ) the car sounded much better for the induction noise

nah, sadly I don't have a Scoob. Was going to get one and was told that I am redundant as of the end of November. SO bought a Golf GTI 1.8T instead - cheaper to run!
