ME ME ME the entry went in last Friday so i hope you are all coming to give us some support as this is the first time out this season due to us trying to save up for a 16v engine.

Usually a great event and if the weather holds up you are all in for a fantastic day as the event will be the decider of the STRC.

Davie.. I am moving house the day before (and Carl Palmer is playing in Lochgelly) so I don't know if I can make it but since i am on the road to Crail (between Glenrothes and Leven) I will give you a wave anyway.
I have seen the stage plans (was ata GMSC meeting) and they are a bit different to last year. The really muddy bit is no longer there and there are a couple of really fast bits added.
You out in the Nova? I see your last ride was off to Mull.

Zeolite..

We are in fact out in the Corsa but are just out for a bit of fun and this will only be if we have an entry confirmed.

We did not go to Mull either speccying or rallying!! unfortunately.

The beauty of Crail is that you can see 4 or 5 cars at any one time. You also have good access to the pits and can go and irritate the crews by asking stupid questions. (looking forward to that bit)
Anyway you have to go and see the new lightweight model co-driver

The only reason we reduced the capacity in the N/S was because there was no more to trim off the car so that just left me!!

Anyone know where I can find out some details of this event as there appears to be no mention of it on the Crail web site.

Start times and spectator costs would be great.

Cheers

I could reply by saying no the event is being held in the main street but i am not that kind of person!!!

it is indeed the airfield with 44 miles of fast flowing stages.

Enjoy your day bud.

Got a couple of questions regarding this event.

Are there 2 runs during the day and if so is the afternoon run just a re-run of the morning run? Also what time does the run in the afternoon begin if there is one?

Cheers,

Does anyone have the rough start times for the different runs (morning and afternoon i think?) and are they both just the same stages or is there a difference.

Cheers,

Congrats at being virtually the only one who didn`t blap the tyres on my corners (marshal station 2)the 1st & 3rd 180º during stage 1 & 2. My bods aching with the amount of tyres I had 2 continually move off the track 2day Think i got some decent pix (when i wasn`t clearing debris) I`ll have a look L8r n if i got some of u I`ll mail u a copy I meant 2 nip over n c u during lunch break but ended up chewin it with some of the scoob entries.
BTW how did u finish ?
Oh yeah, nice 2 c all the peebs that turned up.

Pete, we led the class from the start and and picked up the 1st in class at the prizegiving and 23rd overall.
We have to admit that this was one of our best ever runs at Crail and cant wait to see the in-car video.
Fantastic day made all the better with the weather and good timekeepers and marshalls.
Seen plenty of scoobs in the car park but only Zeolite came and said hello!!

My full rally report on the stage by stage basis will be on our website over the next couple of days.

Just turned up for the afternoon. Good dry day and it looked very fast! Pete looked a bit tyred out (ho ho) and he saw a lot of action. Where's the pics Pete?
Nice to meet scoobylav and lots of scoobs all around.
