Want to go for a run on Sunday ... Any suggestions for a good run . Getting sick of m/ways ! Want some good roads that are fun ( but legal ) , twisties or dual carriageway .. don't care .

Renfrewshire.... hmmm go along great western road for a good few miles then take the turn off up to loch lomond, nice b-road there!

Hope you don't mean 'sunday' as in 40mph though!

hi m8,

up from balloch,via duck bay, turn right at tarbert (mad fast road to crianlarich) turn right to callender via lix toll!(ultra high speed bit)

its top fun!!! a blue wrx did 154mph showing on its road angel down there(to lix toll)....................... i cant imagine who it was though!! thank f**k for ap brakes!!

Great roads going to crainlarich, used to go up there on the bike some nice 170 stretches, just look out for the traffic police and don't speed in the towns (not that you would)

Just been for a Blat round Dumbarton + Alexandria (waved at a woman driving a Mica blue STI .. typically no respose !) - Ayr - Mossblown - Renfrewshire ..... SO many F***ing Sunday drivers with their F***ing Fogs on ! ( but thats another thread !)

RB5_245... Of course not !! Only in a 40 zone .

JohnnyR6 - 170 !!!!! Death wish anyone ?

Might head up Crianlarich next weekend

Crainlarich nah mate Head down the M74 come off at Crawford then follow the signs for Thornhill About 18 miles of pure white knuckle stuff but safe,when you finish that road turn right on to the A76 head for Kilmarnock After Sanquar village turn right,signposted Crawfordjohn About 20 miles of b road madness End of that road turn right This will take you down to the M74 again Where there is a shell garage for that lovely optimax stuff

Take the car on the Stewarton Road starting at the Mearns end. This'll highlight your cars capability.

Betcha, you bottle out before the car does!!.....

Did your run today and ...... must say .. that is some road !!

Great twisties and crests !

... and no , I didn't bottle it , just wanted to get my MY03 home in one piece !!!

170's quite safe as long as you don't hit anything . A couple of mates and myself went passed some harley riders sitting in a layby at about 150 ish, you should have seen the looks on their faces as we turned round and waved to them LOL, oh all on a private road ofcourse.

Yep , Beginning is excellent , the car really handles the dips and corners so well ....
....so well went through £10 of Optimax just for that run !!!
