Simon - I am looking for a sports i used to have a CBR600 but i am wanting to up to the 1000cc range maybe even a R1, thought the thunderace could be a good choice as its got everything i need.
I am just getting back into bikes so the show will be an eyeopener

steaven,the new r1 is the dog olocks .I saw it @ the nec ,but im not shure about the under seat exhausts . the Italeans r the best in that dept. a mate of mine has a 2001 thunderace and its very comfy thats NOT wat u want is it. Im looking @ nos for my scooter +-210 bhp thats why going to show (Sunday)Ive got a verry fast escort to beat this year. Simon h

 

well a friend had the thunderace & it was close but not that close to a f'blade, also cheaper insurance
being only 24 & i find this a problem, though i have a MY04 sti & it isnt bad on the insurance !!
the show will hopefully make up my mind
as for the very fast escort it isnt silver is it ???

 

no its blue and does the quarter in 10.38 sec and he thinks hes going 2 beat me. I was quite surprized when i went to insure mywrx 02 it is cheaper to insure than my bora. do u not fancy the kwak z1000 or do u want a faering. Simon

It's a pity I can't travel there on the bike this year. I'll be taking my nephew with me, and his mother won't let him on the bike with me. (wise decision I suppose).
