Nice video and I love the vtec howl It does highlight the low down torque problem of the CTR though. The only time you got in trouble was out the hairpin where you dropped out of VTEC and the scooby a) got on the power quicker (4wd) and b) has a turbo - other than that good close driving

Jambo ............will need to review footage again but from memory it's only the STi & Judge that I have on film ...............I will be at KH on the 20th to provide audio-visual pax lap support. I will burn MPEG's of this quality to anyone who's willing to give a Honda pilgrim ( wannabee Scoob owner) a pax lap

The chase cam option is good for those how wish to see how much their chariots body roll on the twisties

If only the 355 and NSX owner would be up for it.................

Cheers matey.......totally agree ! On the normal corners the CTR's a dream but hairpins are a ball ache. The brakes are incredibly good though.....
Torque of Scoobs & 4wd is simply bonar inducing ! I need a £3k Jackson Racing Supercharger to combat you guys

I'd have a Scooby 2moro if I didn't do 350 miles plus a week (.......however, as my 30's approach I'm rapidly losing the desire to be sensible w.r.t personal finance)...........so bank robbery is a highly attractive proposition as long as I can borrow someones wagon

Footage of the Radical battling with the GT3 is well cool ...........

Roll On The Summer & the liberal availability of Optimax !!!

I think the supercharger might be overkill - you'd thrash Impreza's down the straight with that!

Don't do it man!!!! As a high mileage per month scooby owner I can categorically say it costs more money than its worth to trundle up and down dualled roads. If you are getting a scooby make sure its a weekend toy or that you don't do silly miles in it. Unless you are totally loaded of course

I do 300-miles per week just commuting, but I haven't been inspired by any other car to replace my Scoob. That's obviously excluding getting another £30K car. It's not that expensive (is it?) and hey I can afford it - life's too short and I want to enjoy myself now

Footage looks excellent, but the driver of that Scoob could've tried a bit harder

I surprised the brakes on the CTR are that good. Are they the std sliding caliper ones?

If I was so pi$$ed off at my local Honda garage's pig-ignorance and lack of customer service I'd have taken one for a test drive.

I drive Edinburgh to Haddington every day. I actually prefer to drive my 3.0 406 for this journey. The pug pretty much can't depreciate any more, is cheaper to insure, cheaper to service, just as fast out of a gasto to get back to excessive cruising speed, is more comfortable, needs serviced less often and does 365 miles per £45 of fuel vs 280 miles per £45 of fuel in the scooby - its a total no-brainer! Scooby's are absolutely wasted on these sorts of roads. You can get far more suitable cars for less money (fiat coupe turbo anyone!). If I get a scooby again it'll be a weekend b-road toy

It's not all about cost though. The grin factor is worth the extra 100-miles of economy. Comfort? Have you hit middle-age all of a sudden

There's plenty of B-roads between my home and work to keep me happy on my daily commute

I have two mortgages which puts a slight dampener on things - agree about the life's too short perspective ( that'll be why I foolishly (or not ?) paid over £1k to see Celtic in Seville last year) Life is there to be grabbed by the ***** !!!! (within reason )

Having 9 points from 3 x SP30's ( all on A90 going at 86,90 & 92 respectively -not too criminal after 2200hrs on Sunday !!) doesn't help matters although 5 yrs NCB alleviates things a tad.

Yip thats right - light car and ace brakes means it outbraked a 911 on one of Top Gears ( or was it 5th Gears) tests last year - gotta love these brakes !!

Hyndland Honda are good but elsewhere has been dubious in my experience including one daftie who told me the CTR had loads of torque ! To which i replied WTF - why does it rev so high and have 6 gears then !

Currently toying with the idea of buying a weekend toy ( £8k classis scoob)and an oil burner for commuting. House move on the way though

Seems some Scoob owners don't mind costs and others are secretly alarmed but don't arouse the wifes suspicion !!!!!!

Matters weren't helped when i first heard Jools titanium zorst combined with flat four burble ..............automotive sex or what !

So should i stick with CTR or move camp ? Maybe a dodgy question to ask when there's a zillion Scoob owners in here !

Cheers

.....I was in Knight Rider mode in an attempt to salvage / promote CTR's track reputation

Do you mean the footage from the entire day ? OR just better (i.e DVD quality) of our wee session burned onto 700 mb CD ?

I'm more than happy to give you the latter but the former is laced with (warranted but mild) abuse which nonetheless is directed at (certain)wideboys in pesky Elises ! the Scooby contingent were highly praised however .......

Haven't fully authored & burned a DVD yet as it takes AGES to execute

On the 20th I'm happy to provide services as I stated before - please cover yer dash in love muck proof protection though !!

Cheers

JamieM - forgot to say :- did u find the other MPEG's on that CD i gave you at HM ? Footage of the 4 Ferrari's belting throught the Euro tunnels is sheer quality Drifting in JUN Supra is also sweet !

It had grey anthracite wheels if that helps ? Do you have a DV fitted ?
Dial up is a pure bummer ! Try BT ISDN if you can't get Broadband ?? - I just got it installed and I'm happy as a Dougster in St.Tropez
