Where can I get my arches rolled?
Following the fitting of 18 inch wheels, I don't I have much clearance at the back. I don't dare take any rear seat passengers. Is there anywhere around the Paisley area (work) or Ayrshire area (home) that can roll my arches?
The new wheels look great, pity about the poxy little standard 2 pot brakes. Looks like bigger brakes will be the next thing to put on the car. Hopefully next week.
Will my bank account stand the pain!

Naw Dougster, it was checked out thouroughly by Bill Greer (I bought the wheels from him), it's definitely the outside and only during high speed cornering.
Cheers Trance, I'll give Kenny call in the morning. Failing that, Dougster gave me the name of a place that might do it also.

Well, I've just bought a new set of coilover suspension (as well as a set of brakes). I'll wait until it's all fitted before deciding if I need my arches rolled. The suspension is fully adjustable so it should cure the slight problem if I set the compression damping to a fairly high setting.
Anyway I have 225/40/18 tyres on a 18 x8 wheel. At the moment, if I drive normally it's fine. It's only when I go a bit quick on the bendy bits or the rough stuff that i get a wee bit of rubbing. Bear in mind that it's on standard 11 year old (worn out) suspension.
So to everybody that says you can't put that size of wheel/tyre combination on an classic, I'll say bollocks, of course you can!
