I'm lead to believe *cough* Redkop *cough* that you have a caravan buisness. I'm looking to hire a mobile caravan for the first two weeks of August that ideally has a lot of sitting space and can be towed behind either a 406 V6 or a Saab 9000 CD 2.0 both of which have a kerb weight of approximatly 1400kg. Can you help or do you know of anyone that can

N.B. This would be my first tow so I'd probably be best suited to something that is no more than 85% kerb of the car.

yep thats right i do , unfortunately i dont hire them out.

both of the cars you have mentioned are ideal for towing a good family size caravan...around 17-18ft internal look for something weightwise around 1200-1250kg laden weight (unladen for these will be around 1000kg)

i dont know of anyone that hires them locally...try yellow pages or failing that buy a copy of practical caravan mag there are a few places in there do it,but i,m sure they are down south

let me know if you need anymore help....or just come along and buy one

cheers
Kev

Cheers for the advice Kev - a lot of places in the UK seemed to be booked up but I might find some random van down England somewhere!

Moses hide a 10l quad turbo engine in the van somewhere and cheat with a wee push
