Wink Subaru drive by shooting tollcross

Subaru drive by shooting in Tollcross as reported in the papers today.Scoob gave chase to a A6 Audi after being shot at but lost him.Owner reported as being from the South Side/Rutherglen area.

Don`t suppose it`s worth putting in "was it you" as i dont think you would own up to that one EH

PS who has got round holes in their scoob!!

Quote from todays paper;

"CRIME INC: SHOOT-OUT ON THE M74 Two escape drive-by gun attack then chase culprits

By Norman Silvester

TWO men who survived a drive-by shooting chased their masked attackers at 120mph along a motorway.

The gang opened fire with a shotgun early yesterday, leaving the victims' sports car riddled with bullets.

A Starsky and Hutch-style chase then followed through the East End of Glasgow and on to the M74.

The shooting was one of a spate of violent incidents in 24 hours.

The drive-by shooting targeted a sporty blue Subaru Impreza, travelling in Glasgow's Tollcross Road.

The 24-year-old driver and 32-year-old male passenger saw a red Audi A6 suddenly pull out in front of them.

The pair ducked for cover as a shotgun was fired at them.

Both souped-up cars were then involved in a chase on to the M74 motorway.

The Subaru, capable of up to 143mph, sped after the Audi, which can reach speeds of more than 150 mph, along largely deserted roads.

Drug The Audi eventually disappeared out of view on Easterhouse Road.

The car had only been bought the day before, fuelling fears the US-style 'hit' was pre-planned.

The two occupants in the Subaru both have minor drug convictions and come from the Rutherglen area.

The incident was only reported to police after the driver thought he was being tailed by officers and voluntarily pulled over and told them what had happened."

Yeah,

A tad wet so not many people around. However, a few interesting cars.

Green 106 - no, can't say I was overwhelmed by it on the road.

Was I going that slow you passed me?

New you wouldn't .
We'd just been up at Crieff for the weekend.
And were on our way back , the scenic route.
When I spotted a silver scoob ahead after Doune @1ish.
UK 300 spoiler 2 cars in front.
Tried to follow but made a right **** of @aboutand went round again to catch up.
Anyways Lors was givin' it " Your driving My car too fast " and I'm sayin' Nowt

You wanna look in your mirrors more for "GANDALF" lookalikes drivin' inferior cars.
.

Keep that collar up!

Steve.

BTW. Did you here a couple of druggies got shot at....

Yeah,

Had the "BIG" coat on - it was either be drowned by rain or stay dry by fashion disaster!!

You must not have been driving fast enough ot I would have heard Lorna scream!!!

I will pay more attention for Gandalf - usually I am looking for white T5's which are quite reflective with a big blue light on the the top.

REG PLATE is M2 *** (removed for security reasons - CID/MI5 etc).

I hope you realise that every green 106 I see I will now be looking at it with staring eyes.

Hope the weekend was good (and the weather not too hideaous),

Brian.

Try to keep it to a dull 70+ on the m-ways - too much bad luck around the corner if you know what I mean?

On the twisties - that's where to **** yourself - a straight line is less fun. Have more fun when it is only me at risk of death and serious injury

How's the car running?

Sorry Opelcorsa,

We should take our discussion elsewhere.

I used to stay 5 minutes drive from Tollcross so I know the area. You can bet there were some "scallys" involved, one way or another,

Tell all Steve,

Is it really gone? To anyone we know.

What is your new love - the missus?, the 106? or Shanks' Pony for a while?

Sorry to hear that Steve - I am sure many people will be.

Don't relinquish the forum just because you have decided to keep your licence?

Johnny,

Need a bigger sign - "Don't Shoot - I will not give chase. I have never bought drugs from you, sold drugs for you, traded drugs with you, stolen your benefits book or the keys to your brand new M3 convertible or broken into your council house...." blah blah - you get the idea.

Yeah - I won the hill climb, beat em all up the hill, well - I didn't fall in the mud, did not stand in any Sheep ****, climbed the gates fine and survived the rain - does that count.

The new car - I take it it's not a Subaru - any clues?

By the way - "MYSTERY" like that - no i.

Spill (some of ) the beans.
