Scottish National Day - 20th June - Alford, Aberdeenshire

Alford is located about 20 miles west of Aberdeen, on the A944. The Transport Museum is easy to find, taking a right turn in the centre of the village.
We are planning to make it a great day out for the family, with a bouncy castle/slide and face painting for the kids as well as the usual show and shine competitions, trader stands, sprint track in use etc. for the adults.
Best of all, entry to the event will be completely FREE of charge, and we would love to have a wide selection of display stands from as many motoring clubs as possible. There is no charge involved - all you need to do is to give me the contact details for your club/organisation, and the number vehicles that you would like to bring.
Obviously we would struggle if everyone said they would like space for 20 cars, but we'll try and be as flexible and generous as possible. I'll need final numbers by Monday 14th June, so we can finalise the layout etc. If you can also help with the running of the event during the day by volunteering as a marshall say for 30 minutes at some point, it would be greatly appreciated.
We'll also be producing a full colour, multi-page brochure for the event, which will again be given out free of charge to everyone who attends the event. Each car club that comes along, will get mention in the clubs section (hence the request for contact details!), but we are also offering advertising space as well, with a nominal charge of £25 per half page A4 full colour advert to cover printing costs. All you do is supply the artwork, and we'll take care of the rest. Final artwork must be returned by Monday June 14th at the latest to be included.
Trader stands are also more than welcome, and again a nominal charge of only £25 will be made, again to help cover our costs for running the event (bouncy castle/marquee hire etc). If anyone is interested in a trader stand, or knows someone who might be, then please get in touch with myself to sort out the details.
We'll also be operating the sprint track during the day, and there will be a small charge of only £5 for as many runs as you can fit in during the day. Places will be limited, and allocated on a first come, first served basis on the day, which starts at 9am, and goes onto 4pm.
For the hungry ones amongst you, we've sorted out a quality burger van, and ice-cream van to be there on site all day

OK everyone, just confirmed a few more things with Alford.
a) Camping is OK overnight on the site - you do need to be there before 5pm on the Saturday afternoon though. It is a residential area, and they are strict on noise limits. (ie no shouting, loud music, revving of engines etc. You can user portable/disposable BBQs on site, as long as you don't burn any grass)
b) We can set-up the marquee, plus other bits and pieces (including trader stands) on the Saturday afternoon/evening as well.
c) The food van we have got coming along has an alcohol licence, and he will be able to sell tins of chilled beer during the Sunday afternoon. (anyone drinking beer however will not be permitted out on track for obvious safety reasons).
Cheers

As promised I`m spearheading the Dundee ricers assualt on Alford that weekend and the feedback from members for camping looks good
I`m up 4 a bit of that, reminds me of the dayz of oor "camp & crails"
Not just that, if we head up on the Sataurday we can shmooz all the way up there instead of kaning the motaz (maybe even take in a bit of scenery)

oh, and looking at the map above, you'll be coming in from the far side of Alford - there is a nice bridge that can be used for a bit of "no wheels on the road" action! I discovered it going to play golf at Alford and drove through from banchory rather quick and almost put my head through the sunroof when I crossed the bridge
