Talking FAO robertio

only just remembered this, but the other day i see a red rx-7 heading off the bowling roundabout towards dumbarton. it was a k reg, but couldn't remember what plate yours was. as soon as i seen it i thought "hot damn, thats a nice one!" and then i remembered yourself had one. would it have been you?

Nope not me (M reg), still haven't got the car back, was supposed to be returning to me on Saturday, but found out this evening the FPR has not been sent up, so it is now a bit touch and go (if it gets sent tomorrow morning it might turn up on Saturday). If it is running I'll be at Crail on Sunday

I suspect it was Andy's car you saw, I'm pretty sure his is K reg and the only red one about that age I know that is running (locally) at the moment Will e-mail him and find out.

Err, it didn't FPR turned up, but a manifold stud snapped wasting precious hours, so the revised ETA is Monday evening (hopefully the battery will have turned up by then). Have e-mailed Chris at TOTB grovelling, so hopefully I'll still be allowed to run as long as the car gets well into the 11s at Edzell next week.

I wasn't there when it happened, just got a txt message at working asking me to give them a call - not a good sign I thought, and so it proved. Still, such is life with this car... Should be a fun week ahead it's either going to be quick or go bang trying

Don't suppose this RX happened to be black did it? any aftermarket exhaust and they become stupidly loud and start throwing flames out, not exactly the most discrete form of transport
