Who indulged me in Haddington then??
This morning I was running VERY late from work and closed rather () quickly on a silver scooby (R 555 ***) as I came off the Haddington slip road. He gave her a squirt in 2nd over the bridge and I matched. His next mission was to remove the green barge from behind him Unfortunatly, I couldn't carry as much momentum off the roundabout as the scooby (my car doesn't handle) and went into the straight at a slightly lower speed. 2nd gear was as I expected with the scooby pulling away slightly but I brought a rapid halt to the level of damage in 3rd and then we backed off soon after. An enjoyable little run and required from my part as I really needed to get a move on.
The scooby was a classic and I think a uk despite the sti badges. It had a magnex oval backbox and I don't think she was decatted as I couldn't hear it at all over my own engine which isn't very loud. I would have liked to have had a chance to keep the pedal to the metal to see the difference in the top end but traffic conditions didn't allow.
Cheers for playing if you are on here

Ok, ok - I'll not let you get too confused. Its a 3.0V6 and doesn't hang around from a rolling start. Its not quite classic scooby fast (uless you start at 100mph and run to 150) but its not far behind. The scooby has a significantly superior p/w/r and you notice it in 2nd gear. I'd like to have seen the 60-100mph incriment where the Peugot really shifts due to its outright power at the wheels and less brick like nose.
