No Probs Paul,
Glad you liked it and hope the filter is OK for you.
Sorry it's put you off the Magnex but just give us a shout when you want to visit C&C.
Brian.

Brian, the new exhaust sounds absolutely awesome mate. Better than an NurSpec IMHO. Just think how sweet it will sound totally decat'd.
I could hear it all the way down the hill
Got your txt, thanks for the offer mate I'll see what happens this week. I may be thru' that way around thursday anyway.

Hi John,
Glad you like it - sound better than that STI bacbox?!?!
That's what you want for the EVO
My Primera is possibly going in on Thursday to get a quick look at the system on that (for any faults and a bit of welding) so if you are going then I may well see you there (possibly)!!
Time to go for the custom treatment on the VII, not an overpriced off the shelf job - why pay for a name when it's the sound and the breathing you want?!? Oh yeah, and the price and quality too!
Catch you later,
Brian.

There was a cracking fight at the cross - guy got a "tanking" then went away in a taxi and came back with a taxi full of his mates to set about the guy!!!
Fortunately the club was a bit quieter than that

Was just out "testing" my new soundproofing in the boot/exhaust combination and was heading for some "suitable" back roads, going through Longridge and note the usual train of people coming towards me waving their hands down etc etc.
Our friendly constabulary with their lovely camera were out at the bottom of the main street as you pass out of Longridge towards Forth. I then thought, mmmm, my exhaust is at its loudest, rumbliest. most Impreza at 30MPH in 3rd gear so I had no option but to either go for sub-atomic rumble in 4th gear at 29MPH, 2nd gear scream at 29MPH or rumble past at 29MPH.
29MPH in third it was - it was RUMBLING! Police aimed, no joy, watched the car pass, straring all the way down the road until I was out of sight chuntering on at 30, then 35 then 40 very steadily etc etc.
Out of sight and hearing mind you - WAAAHAAAAYYY!!!

Brian, that's a favourite haunt of theirs at the moment. Been nearly caught a few times as I always forget about it, as the slimey toads hide their jam sandwich along the lane behind the house so you have no warning, AND they don't always wear their hi-vis jackets.
Your right about the zorst. I may take a trip thru' there this week once I've sorted the insurance. It's amazing once you give a company a comprehensive list of mods, some laugh and some just hang the phone up. Reckon I've got it cracked tho'

Worth popping through to see C&C - they are booked all this week and then on holiday for the next two anyway so it would be 3 weeks or so before you could get in - but totally worth the wait to get it right first time and at the right price. Remember that EVERYTHING is built from scratch including the back boxes etc.
Correct about PC's - they had the hi-vis jackets on but the car was nowhere to be seen. I could see them all the way down the hill but coming into Longridge - no chance. Made sure I came back a different way. Not worth them deciding to pull me for no reason.
I would be posting but on MLR but I have exceeded my 20 posts PER MONTH limit as I am a non-member. Not really worth the £35 to me as a non-evo owner. Hope you enjoy the meet next Sunday.
Bummer,
Brian

Anyone?!
What sound proofing should I stick in the boot lid of my car - sounds like a Beans tin and makes a difference to the outside sound (of the zorst) when in the car?
Cheers,
Brian.

Keith that would have been the wife. I got peace for nearly two hours as she was visiting her wee cousin.
Black Beastie is going well, very well. Got me insurance sorted today so let the mods commence, first one being done this friday then as with anything, it's how much I get for the wife and bairn as to how far I can fund the next stage
Even considered giving up the bevvy as I worked out that with the saved money I could get around another 80hp. Just considered though
Hopefully catch up with some of you soon. I've noticed now that I'm on the darkside, the pub nites have almost stopped. Blaeberry anyone??

I hope you two - R6 and EVJKP are not planning anything naughty?!?!?
Pub night at the Blaeberry very soon I reckon. Several of us on hols till mid August but maybe MID August may be a good idea - Hamilton meet is on then though so?!?!?
Weekend after for some "refreshments"?!?
Darkside or not, you're more than welcome - just 'cos none of us put up the money to go dark.
Brian.

Good to meet up yesterday.... loved the exhaust. will be calling C and C to book mine in when they are back after the fair.
Pub meet anytime in August is good for me. I should be OK for the Hamilton one too

<slowly shakes head>
Chris, Chris, Chris......
You and me know both know the score and bowing down is not my style
I'm up for another run, but it's going to be a couple of months before my first stage is complete. Issues with getting the bits I want and running into a very busy time at work
Pub meet in August should be okay, shift rota depending.

Went thru' to C&C this morning. Impressed with what they can offer and the price for a full decat turbo back was even more impressive.
Mentioned Brians name and got a wry smile as if he's heard it a few times before. You should be on commission mate. Even 10% on the price of a zorst would not be too much. Not on mine tho'

I'll ask Cameron tomorrow if he'll add 10% onto yours, and all other Impreza exhausts and give me the 10%. Great idea.
Glad you got on O.K. John - have you booked in with them?!?
