Hi John,

I'm looking forward to my first track day! Had great fun at knockhill on their tarmac rally stage 2 years ago.
Do you know that there is a press day at Knockhill on Tuesday where 4 WRC's are taking us press members for a blast round the track!! Give me a shout if you want to come....

Steve.

Looking forward to get the Scoob back on the track.
See you there!
Steve,
Sounds like a good wee perk.Remember a really fast shutter speed to eliminate the camera shake for the in car shots
Post some pics up on the board if you can.
Cheers Doug

Didn't realise that it is not just a press day, but an event. Look at the Knockhill web site for details. It starts at 8.00am on Tuesday and costs about £10.

Steve,

didn't know about this event. Would loce to go, and will check my diary at work on Monday, and I'll also e-mail you out a booking form for our track event at the same time.

We have a great variety of car already lined up for our track event, which is shaping up to be one of the best so far!

MacR - booking form on it's way to you.

Dave - why are you not taking part this time - it will be the first time in many events that we haven't had one of your white specials on the track.

Places are going fast now, and we have less than 10 left now!

I've also had a few e-mails about coming along to watch. Yes, this will be no problem, and it won't cost you anything to come in. If we do get the BBQ afterwards sorted out, then you'll have to pay for that.

Miles is correct, - the best place is Egger Lawson on 0115 941 5255, and ask for Nik. Can be expensive ifyou want the full value of your car covered, but its not too bad if you take out sensible levels of cover.

Dark,

That'd be much appreciated - my father will be coming along, so if anyone would like to show off their car to him - I'm sure he'll be happy to help you out

Cheers,

John,

I hope that I was one of the lucky buggers that got the last spot.

I sent the form and cheque off yesterday. Can you please confirm that I am in before I organise insurance etc ?

Thanks,

Andrew.

Question

Who all is going along to participate / spectate? I'm 95% certain I'll be going along for a look (it's as close to 100% as I ever get ) and would like to be able to follow others.

BTW I'll try not to be late this time, and for Dougies benefit I will ensure my service credit has not expired on my phone

Question

No-one going then? At least the roads will be quiet

I assume the population of Scotland is on holiday this week, as the number of posts in the forum has been shall we say a tad on the small side.

BTW,
How do you fix a woman's watch?
You don't. There is a clock on the oven

Robertio,

we have 45 cars taking part on Saturday, with probably quite a few more coming along to watch.

Just back from my hols, but I'll be going along on Saturday as well.

Managed up to the Hot Marques night last night as well - not many Scoobies there - everyone must be waiting for tomorrow I suppose
