my 04 wrsx ppp got a royal whooping by a mk2 astra. yes i know. this yellow thing pulls up behind lights a flashing then draws up to the side. he lowers his tints and reveals he wearing a smegging open face helmet and i notice his car is caged up. i took the bait and my god he left my car standing in every gear and in high revs in fifth he pulled away like i wasnt even moving.
an f reg astra. still cant get over it, managed to pull up to him ten minutes later and find out he has 3 lt v6 twin turbo arrangement going through 4wd with direct nos and twin intercoolers HOLY SH*T guy spends his evenings baiting for evos scoobs and anything else. it's in the aberdeen area bright yellow black wheels and HUUUGE wheels arches watchout for this badboy
yeah he said it was a cossie floor pan mated to the shell of the astra so he could make use of the 4x4 running gear, other than that its all vauxhall stuff, is that really possible??
WWHHAAATT surely looking on the net shows the 0-60 times of some of these cars is no where near a scoob, clio ?? and i thought the civic type r was about 6 and a hlaf secs or somtething what kind of scoob do u drive bob?
Skoda fabia vrs
Renault clio 172
Mk 5 golf gti
Astra vxr
Civic type r
Come on, you know there are probably loads more.
My sister's got a fabia vrs, it really surprised me, it's got loads of grunt, but can't beat my uk turbo.
Brothers got clio 172, don't exactly leave him for dead but he's got no prospect of beating me.
Had a play with a civic type r once and it was fairly even, but I hadn't had the car long and didn't exactly launch at high revs so still think I could beat one.

And classic's are supposed to be the quickest models as they are lighter.

Classic sti yes but the extra 80 bhp makes a big difference. I wasn't under any illusions what I was buying when I got my uk turbo, mines got 215bhp which these days isn't anything special, I thought about getting a civic type r but after driving a scooby I knew I was hooked.
That other manufacturers also make fast cars isn't exactly news.
See you've got a fatty

Speaking abit of sh1te there id say, there is only one yellow mk2 about... and it aint no 3ltr twin turbo blah blah blah, try a 2.0 with no nitrous, or twin intercoolers

The difference been, with the exception of the Civic Type R, the rest would fall miles behind when cornering, especially the VXR which doesn't turn at all.
