you should come along to a meet and get some ideas then, though we accept no responsibility for any damage to your wallet! most of us tinker away with them to one degree or another and our advice is free.

cant believe i spent a wk near ness and other than folks i already know, dont think i got a single wave back .....why might this be is it cos i have a classic and newages dont like us its sonic so folks are jealous or are folks just ignorant to the scoobaru waves

Please don't start the wave or not to wave discussion again
Nobody waves due to the fact that if the local force saw ye they would probably do ye for having one hand off the wheel, therefore not in proper control of the vehicle = 3 points and 60 quid fine

I've got a MK5 Golf GTi now. Its very nice. Looking to get it re-mapped next month. Should bring it up to 250bhp/300lbsft, so I should just about be able to keep up with you guys!
Miss the scoob a lot. Just need a slightly more sensible car for a wee while. But I will be back.................
Lemme know the plan, and i'll try come along.

excuses excuses... have to say im almost jealous, nearly got one of the gtis when they came out but was looking at a 8 month waiting list and i aint a patient person...when i tried it i was very impressed, cabins much nicer than the sti but i did think it would be a belter chipped, be interesting to see how it goes, think you may surprise a few imprezas.
things were fairly quiet over the winter, but hopefully more people will appear with the sun. you still down in dundee at weekends?

I am impressed with it. It drives very well, excellent on the back roads too, and not as horrific on the go-go juice neither. Its quite quick too, plenty low down torque, just needs a little extra to give it some edge, although I'll probably start eating tyres, as it loves to wheelspin. Managed to give a guy in a UK300 a run for his money the other night, good bit of banter on the back roads.
