Jeez just started working in Aberdeen and passed a silver Cop kitted Sti pursuit car with a private plate. When did the ol plod start using these, never seen any about Glasgow?

 

Thats because in Glasgow, the majority of Neds are doin 70 up Sauchiehall Street and having to stop at the next set of red lights. Its not like the police need to chase them anywhere...

 

ive seen it before as well (cant remember where TBH) but i think its more of a actual show car than anything, ive never heard of it ever being parked at the side of a road with somebody pointing a speed gun out of it

 

Yeah Grampian Police have one marked up but it's only for their anti speeding campaign nothing else, don't even think that they own the thing but get it from the local dealer in the way of sponsorship.

 

I saw it in fraserburgh at a show last year.

 

 

Its not an sti, its a Police road saftey awareness car, sponsered by town and county

Its on Prodrive spings and has a prodrive pipe on it.

It does however have over 15k worth of video recording kit in it!

But they need to get close to record you LOL ;-)

 

No chance then if it's not an STi
