I wil probably head along to the carpark but won't be able to go for a thrash!!Just replaced coil packs couple of weeks ago, now my manifold has completly crcked across the collector box gutted . Can anyone suggest somewhere around ness that would port my original manifold for a good price? Was plannin just firing that back on its ma cheapest option i think.

any more guys out there interested? i saw loads of scoobs in inverness at the weekend so dont be shy!

Its good on fuel. Its novel to see mpg in the 30's rather than the 20's! I average mid 30's on a run home, and thats across the lecht road, without hanging about.
Havent driven a VXR, but are supposed to be pretty wicked beasts. Dunno how they compare with the golf's, but most reviews put the golf just ahead of the VXR and the Focus ST. Have you driven either?

nope, resisted the urge so far i get the feeling i might end up spending money i dont have.. although i did try the golf when it was launched and was very impressed, just found it a bit too civilised for me but i did reckon a chip would sort that. mind you vpower was only 80p a litre then
couldnt live with the kitchen stool they stuck in the st unfortunately, as i think it looks great esp. in bp rally colours.
her shortlist is a colt czt??,tigra??!!! dc5 integra, new leon cupra or vxr- i deffo approve the last 3
il keep an eye out for you at weekends sandy, what motor you got? also hoping we may do a full day out one weekend for all the north guys if theres enough interest, maybe a wee tour of skye or up that way

no need to mod much. pulls very well for a uk. liam can testify. lol.
got a sti/prodrive not fitted yet.
peaking at 16 psi on old ecu but settling at 13. maybe its been fiddled with but as its 98 unlikely.
brakes are ****e though

thanks to euan, rich and last but not least, dale for turning up on a (ahem) slightly damp day but it was a decent run all the same.
did you guys catch up with the boy racers that left inversneckie just in front of you?
frustrated rally driver of the night goes to euan for his determined attempts at donuts in the forest
though it has to be said that if we cant get more numbers to turn up regular meets wont go on.
