Price now £3500 including 18s which cost me £1000 and are nearly new. Am I off the mark with my pricing or is it just the colours an aquired taste?

Going in Autotrader on Friday but would rather it goes to someone in the club but just can't accept as little as £2500 (cost me more than that to buy and spent around £8k since buying it!).

As of Sunday I'm going on holiday for two and a bit weeks, upon my return I will be reviewing all offers and making my decision. Anyone interested feel free to make an offer, the worst I can say is no.

As I just got back home yesterday its not yet sold, but I'm probably going to text a guy to confirm a swap for a celica GT4 tonight or tommorrow if no-one comes forward with a better offer either as a swap or cash as nothing appealing has been offered while I was away.

its had new turbo, all belts and pulleys, ecu, fuel pump, fuel lines, decat, etc etc, engine was supplied by Mr Engine.net and my friend (full Toyota Technician at Arnold Clark) and a collegue who used to work for Subaru fitted engine. Exterior wise the wheels were a grand, late model front bumper with fog covers and splitter, crystal lights, open meshed grill, sti V6 spoiler, smoothed bodywork and full respray including door sills, boot and bonnet in a 3 stage pearl paint that cost £1600.

You got a bottom price you would accept but I take it any further ?? no offence but from looking around it would seem its slightly overpriced as it is.

6 months tax, MOT until late Dec/early Jan I think. I'm afraid if you're looking closer to £2k than £3k its not worth going any further, this car is far from a bog standard tatty '92 WRX.

Not a problem mate, to be honest appreciatte what you are saying just that with reading back a few off your older posts not sure I could honestly trust the original supplier off the engine and that it really is such a low mileage one, again appreciate that you have probably put a lot off hard work / effort / money !! into getting this car looking the way it does even if its the last colour I would have choosen for a £1600 paint job !!

did you find out the fault causing the engine light to come on ?? still possibly interested mate just that obviously want to make sure that buying a car off this age does not turn out to be an expensive rebuild six months down the line !!

The colour was chosen as I have had every car I've ever owned resprayed in the original colour but always regretted not being more adventourous so when I was getting the scooby done I spent hours looking through colour cards looking for something a bit different and landed on this or Kawasaki Verde Green but went for this due to colour changing characteristics, it really does look absolutly stunning in the sun and always gets positive comments from random passers by. I do appreciate it isn't subtle but who's ever accused Imprezas of being subtle, lol.
After having checked everything over and over again and replacing numerous parts as suggested by various mechanics and garages the unanomous decision amounst the garages I've taken it to and my more mechanically minded friends is that its due to the decat I have fitted not having a bit to put the lamda probe in, hence lamda probe sending error code.
I am exactly the same when buying a car (cautious) and all I can do is assure you I have spent money on this car whenever its needed it to try to get/keep it as good as possible and I've seen it through any problems its had, so hopefully this shows you I'm not trying to get rid of it due to some impending problem and that its in great condition.
