Thumbs up

Assuming that all seems well at Star tomorrow.
I plan to be out on the track.

Might need a new set of pads/tyres afterwards, you going to have spares on you ?

Mines?
Surely that's a bit dangerous.
Isn't it challenging enough negotiating the corners without dodging mines as well !

Not been to a track day before so would like to spectate this time if someone would be kind enough to explain the score.

All I know so far is where Knockhill is

Cheers.

Ken

I'll bring along a set of front pads....first one to the metal gets em

Big John..nice to hear the Evo's getting its cobwebs blown out, I'll try not to overtake you too many times

I thought Sam would be the first to reply to this one, he never usually misses out on a track day thread

Looks like it's going to be a very popular event

We curently have 6 people on the reserve list for the event.

Wheels Around will be there all day, helping people to swap over wheels and tyres, supply new road tyres (or slicks if you want). They also have a limited supply of 2nd hand (barely worn) slicks at very sensible prices.

They should also have a set of 16inch wheels and slicks available for hire

They will also have stocks of Silkolene Pro-Boost octane booster availavle at discounted prices on the day.

They can also help you to fit new brake pads if required, and could supply (and fit) any Mintex brake pads at a good discount if you pre-order them.

Can't wait to see how some of the cars go around the track

See you all for an early start on Sunday morning!

I'll be there, trying to keep it pointing in the right direction - think I take up the offer of slicks to preserve my new 17" tyres.

If it's an 8am start at Knockhill, shall we Aberdonians meet at the Esso garage just north of Portlethen at 6.15am?
