Question

Obvious place will MacD's at the FRB.

Who all intends to meet here?? I was thinking about 07:15 to 07:30 so that we can have brekkie before getting to Knockhill for about 08:00 to 08:15.

That's considering that the drivers briefing and disclaimer signing is scheduled for about 08:30 to 08:45.

Hopefully all the freakin' sna' will be away by then.

OMG! I don't think I'm physically able to function at that time on a Sunday morning

Guys,

with so many cars taking part on Sunday, I'll need to have everyone there by 8:15 at the latest. Signing on will start about 8am.

If people turn up late (not naming any names Sam ), then it means the briefing is delayed, and everyone loses out on track time, gets frustrated etc.

There will be food/breakfast available at Knockhill all day.

Just hoping for some nice weather

Those of us that booked on-line using credit card, do we need to bring receipt as proof of payment or do you have the list of who has paid???

And are you sending out the signing on forms by e-mail, so we can bring them along completed to save time?

Cheers

Cool

Dave,

I've got a list of all those who paid on-line, and you'll be getting an e-mail today, asking for some more details (like reg number etc) that the club shop doesn't capture.

I'll also be e-mailing out the info pack, and signing on sheets to save time to all of those taking part. Those who don't have e-mail will get it posted to them.

Cheers

Can I suggest a later meeting time at the FRB for those who wil only be spectating, which is the which I'll be doing. I've taken the definite decision to sell the Evo in the near future so I could do without the replacement of brake pads, tyres etc.

How about meeting at 09:30 for a bite to eat and then on to Knockhill for spectating/ chatting at a better time??

John - sounds like a plan

I'm getting mixed up between pre-booked SIDC trackdays and Top Marques days where you turn up and get on. Therefore I'll only be spectating on Sunday (althought hopefully I can blag a few passenger laps - t-uk this'll be your chance for revenge after Crail )

I'm picking up Dave Allen on the way, so we'll get you at the FRB at 9.30ish.

See you then!

Hope I am wrong about this guys, but it is SMRC race marshal training day at Knockhill on Sunday and the weather is usually pretty crappy on training days. It snowed last year and made the drive up to the circuit a tad interesting, even for the legendary scoob. I can tell you that running about in snow with an extinguisher, during fire training, is also great fun -NOT!.

Here is hoping the sun will shine brightly on Knockhill on Sunday. I look forward to seeing some great cars on the track after the training is finished. For those of you venturing out onto the circuit have fun.
