Cool

I did the performance driving course at Crail on Saturday and was really surprised just how much more you can get out of your car with a few changes to driving style. I highly recommend this course to everyone. Well worth the money, apart from the slightly sh???ed set of tyres although mine weren't the worst! (you know who you are)
Information on the driving courses can be found at www.1stlotus.com

I managed to put the course to the test at Knockhill today and I was so much faster round the track
This had to be one of the best trackdays I've been on. Great turnout and the weather was exellent too, just not like Knockhill in the middle of March
Big thanks to John S and also Wheels Around who managed to sell me a set of wheels and slicks at a very reasonable price.
Roll on the next one

ahem, cough!! err that'll be me guilty as charged on the shredded tyre front then

also agree, was a top day, learnt alot and would reccomend anyone considering a track day to go along. I was amazed at how little changes to my driving made so much difference, made me feel more confident.

got a new set of tyres on the car now, replaced the front pads, gettin 4 new discs and mintex pads fitted at AWD this Saturday, will be able to give them a testing at Crail on Sunday.

You going on Sunday toby??

Cheers
Al

So you got the tyres and brakes sorted Luckly I got a set of slicks for the track day on Sunday so saved my tyres for the drive home Did you go over to Knockhill for a look?
I'm not to sure if i'll be coming along to Crail this weekend. I was thinking about coming down and maybe meeting up with the Dundee crowd and then heading over. But some of the local guys are going karting in Edinbugh and have asked if I would like to go. If i'm not down this weekend I will probably be down the next time. Whats going on at Crail on sunday anyway? is it just a thrash? and what time does it start?

Hi

yeh managed to get tyres, and changed my front pads, getting new discs and decent pads on Saturday.

yeh crail will be a thrash, i think there are supposed to be cars coming along from the street machine event that was cancelled (according to me m8) so should be a good laugh. If i dont see you there, will catch you at the next one.

take is easy
Al
