hallo

insurance... well...
it was easy to get when the car was unmodified... used admiral, then tried axa and priveledge (spelling looks off there)...

admiral quoted me 1000 or there abouts when the car was unmodified... (2 years no claims, 28years young)
but they would not insure when i got the prodrive kit fitted...

priveledge quoted me 1100 for prodrived car...
axa quoted me 700!!!
so i went with them....
but then found out they made a mistake... and that was for an unmodified car... they would not insure the prodrive stuff...

so asked on here.. and greenlight were recommended...

cost me about 900 quid... but they liked and understood all my mods... and are open to more..

p.s.
i am a SIDC member.. and am on a SIDC scheme with greenlight... so should be same sort of price id expect...

cheers for the reply. The best I have so far is from Admiral at £924 for standard car ( down from £1k cos I put my 22 year old girlfriend on ??? ) but they dont do any more excess than £350 so cant get it down any further (25yrs old full no claims)
I'll give greenlight a try (hope they are in the Yellow Pages, the damn thing is nearly worn out with so much flicking through it !
