Posting here for a more 'local' response.

I am getting my MY97 wagon soon and need to fit security to it in the form of a Cat1 system. So far I have been given a price on a TOAD system (should be quite competitive) but I have no bench mark to compare the price to. Also could anyone recomend a localish installer. Because it is a 97 I will need a further solinoid to alow the central locking to work with the system (so I am told)

You're right about the solenoid, i had my clifford removed from my Charade turbo and fitted to my scoob, needed the same thing. Cost me about 250 from Checkpoint in Aberdeen, they seemed to do a pretty good job.

Steve did a few installs 4 me in the past and was good £ wise
