Just thought i'd drop in and say hi. Just picked up a 1999 Impreza Turbo Wagon at the weekend after selling my VR6. I'm a vw man but fancied a wee change and have a mk2 golf project also.

So my Impreza, bought as a bit of a 'fixer upper'. Its done 141k buy has a fair bit of history. Its blue (52D), has 17" speedline alloys, a cat back exhaust, walbro 255 fuel pump and a intercooler mounted dump valve. Not sure what the deal is with it as its preventing the coil pack from being bolted down so its just sitting there. Unsure if its been mapped but feels pretty quick.

Downsides are that the sump has had it and leaking badly. Have new one on route. Rusty heat shields everywhere. Had a fuel leak which ive sorted and the rear arches are suffering with a bit of rot but overall its in ptetty good shape. I'm a mechanic and also do a bit of bodywork thankfully.

Anyway that my deal, away to strip this sump off shortly.

Hi mate, wouldn't have been me as i've not got it on the road yet. Waiting for some gasket seal coming for my sump as euro car parts are being a pain. Will check out that site though cheers.
