Pics of JohnS (I really must upgrade my camera !) - the last one is as he passes the timing gear on the third lap of his blistering 97.77 run
Thanks to John Stevenson for an excellent day - fingers crossed I'll still be onshore for the 6th & 7th July.

Sorry CAZ1562, I only got let out to take pictures at the end of the day, and I can only guess you had stopped taking your car out by then Hopefully someone else will have managed to get some pictures of it. If you are at the double header give me a shout and I'll be sure to take some for you.

What a bloody great day out, I haven't had so much fun for £20 since I went to Amsterdam last year
Thanks to the two John's for arranging and making me get off my bum and go!
I'll be there again before the end of the year.
Cheers
Graham

Many thanks to everyone, yet again, for a great day out. It was good to meet more new faces.
Thanks to everybody that gave me passenger laps. It was quite funny how everybody who gave me passenger laps often managed some of their best times, I don't think I am that light! Really enjoyed my session with Doug which was my first time in a Scooby. Also first time with Tut as I thought he needed some ballast to slow him down a bit. Neil's session was hampered by the rain, not that he slowed down too much. Highlight I think was a session around in the Ford Cosworth. Talk about driving on the limit, I nearly thought we were going off just before the hairpin but he somehow managed to correct it, brilliant fun.
The Chevette from the Scottish Sideways Club (would never have guessed he belonged to that) was the spectator's favoutite. Messed up the track every now and then, but was quite amazing how he actually managed to keep it on track most of the time considered his rather original driving techniques.
I didn't quite manage into the 97s but did get below 100 with a passenger so was pleased with that. Mind you he didn't have any shoes on.
My new bullet camera worked well. The lens assembly must not have been assembled correctly as it worked loose. Affected some of the shots but at least I now know the best mounting positions. I have just made a bracket that fits onto the towing eye in the front of the Elise so should get some good shots around Kames and Knockhill. The above the rear wheel, looking forward is a cracking position and will use that again. Still experimenting with microphone position.
Cheers for getting Photo Robbie, email address is Iain@skyenet.freeserve.co.uk
Till the next time!
Cheers Iain

I did some sorting / filtering of the results spreadsheet .... guess who got the most track runs / minutes for their twenty quid
I'll leave it to JohnS to decide whether or not to post this stuff.
All the best.

To be fair though, well over half my runs were taking passengers out, and I did over 50% less runs than last time. Now I wonder who did the most laps solo trying to break John's 94.63?
Eric, it was good to see you again after TT2002. Sure I will see you all soon. Booked for Knockhill on the 20th July but might manage the 20th June. Regardless, I aim to go up on the 20th June to at least watch from around the track and get some videos/photos
Cheers Iain
