I've had a local auto electrician fit a Clifford concept300 and blackjax4 with a intelistart 4 also only problem is after following all the wiring diagrams to the letter and triple checking everything it does not work!

We can get into the valet mode for programming the system no probs but even though we have successfully programmed the remotes into it wont arm or disarm. If you hold the arm button down it will panic alarm and switch off the panic but it still wont arm.

This happened on Thursday night and everywhere is shut for Easter.

I know I should have got someone who fits them all the time but he said he was supremely confident he would have no problems and he is a good auto electrician usually also I am swapping it for a paint job on his van so that’s the reason he is doing it not the local Clifford dealer who are rip-off merchants but it looks like I gonna pay them anyway to sort it out

I'm just asking if there is anything I'm missing

Check that the white/brown wire (ignition sense) does not have a feed going to it.
If it see's a voltage on this wire then it wont arm/disarm, but as you say will go into panic and also will let valet mode work.

Make sure your pressing the arm button twice when programming other wise it will not accept it.Otherwise it could be the ariel which is a big fault at the moment .
