Disclok - any guarantees?

I put my disclok on whenever I leave the car (even in the garage) but I've wondered what would happen if it broke in some way and I couldn't remove it..!
Is there a guarantee with it? Or is it a hacksaw job? (i've heard that could take a while)

You get a 36 month guarantee (although i don't think this is the actual answer that you want
).
Also (from http://www.disklokuk.co.uk/products.html) - you get a "24 hour helpline for assistance in an emergency"!

LOL I though I was the only one that did that (dislock in garage)
Nice one - don't feel so mad..![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I've read it can take an hour even with power tools to get through one - so CAT1, Tracker & I always stick it on... It just serves as a great deterent imo

You get strange looks when fitting sometimes but IMO it would take a lot longer to get that off & the siren etc going to put off at least some of the theiving B@tards!

here's another beauty, I'm thinking about getting one of those light bulb adaptors that reacts to sound and switches the light on, just for the garage. That way, if anyone tries to open the door, the light comes on... ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Not sure how sensitive they are though, I can see it being useful, but not if comes on everytime a cat meows or something.

You need help !
JFI - He even puts the disklock on at work, and we all been vetted via the goverment, show two passes to get in the gates, have 20 ft fencing with CCTV that zooms in if you touch the fence, guards patroling every hour, swipe access to all doors etc etc etc

I believe there is a way thieves can open the disclock in a few seconds....
This info comes from a motor trader friend... and I`m not going to say how...
Just be careful..
I still put mine on though...![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
