Default Alarms? (are Clifford more trouble than they're worth?)

Need an Alarm/Immob with total enclosure, that won't be troubled by a turbo timer...any suggestions??? plzeeee.
I've been advised to steer clear of Clifford due to reliablity issues.
I had Sigma b4 which was cool and trouble free.
The BlackJax sounds like a bloody good idea????? especially after reading ScoobyDave14's report.
Feed back good or bad, greatly appreciated

clifford are the best alarms you can get full stop.

But they are very advanced and MUST be fitted by good installer or you will have lots of problems

Blackjax can be fitted by itself and I would say it is a essential bit of kit at about £150

ScoobyTal: agreed.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Poor earths.
Dirty electronic connections.
Poor crimping of cables.
Incorrect wires used.
Un-modified Subaru alarms used.

I had mine fitted by an authorised dealer, and it was sorted out by another dealer and now it’s a different system altogether.

I has 3 alarms in on year, unbelievable!

Sorted out by Andrew, top man!

I can recommend INTERPART, DIDCOT, OXON

Frankly Yes.
Won't fit them and hopefully never will.
Tried fitting them a few years back when the G4 stuff came out and it was rubbish.
Still stand by Sigma.

Cool

Ande: I agree with you, it is not an amateur fit, needs an experienced professional to fit it.

Clifford is a computer controlled alarm, but fitted well its second to none

clifford are great, but as it's been said they have to be fitted correctly or they become a nightmare.
You would'nt let any kn**head tune your car so get a pro to fit the alarm which ever you go for
