I have just taken ownership of my new Scoob (MY99 Turbo) it has the standard fit alarm but with the addition of a pager


The pager is a MicroSCAN MP3000

IT IS DRIVING ME FECKING NUTS.

I tested it by opening the door with the key and the alarm went off, and I got paged! or so you think.....

Now it just beeps every 5 minutes for no aparant reason, the girlfriend is going to throw it out the window any minute

Does anyone know how the F**k to use this thing? I have no manual but have found the control box with Dip switches etc.

Used to have one on mylast car (Corrado). All I had to do was turn on the pager when I left the vehicle and that was it. Never had any false alarms. You have to make sure that you turn off the pager before you get in the car otherwise it'd go off when the door is opened, other than that it was great ... until it broke and refused to turn on.

Would I have another no. It's one more thing to go wrong and one more thing to carry around.

P.S. down f**k with the dipswitches or setting pots, u'll just mess it up

 

oh, and it keeps going off just in case you didn't hear it the first time, obviously you did though...lol
