Lost Subaru Keys
Hi ppl,
I've been to work today and lost my keys luckily to get into our office you have to go through a 24hr manned barrier.
But how do i get my car back on the road??????
I have spoken to the Company who fitted the alarm and they can immobilise this but how do i get a key?
The Car is a Subaru Impreza L reg - They said that this shouldn't be a chipped key on this year is that right?
Do i just need to get someone to remove the ignition barrel and take it to a lock smiths?
Has anyone got any details how to remove the barrel? I know that the cars safe but it's just not practical to get to/from work.
Please somebody help so i can get this done over the weekend and back to work in my baby..
Alex

On some jap cars the key number is stamped on the drivers door lock barrel, obviously means forced entry to look inside the door. Or maybe a dealer would be able to find the key number from the chassis number, but maybe not if it's an import
