sigma alarm
#1
Guys,
I recently bought a 1992 mr2 with a sigma alarm installed in it (I don't know the model but it doesn't have a keypad). The other day when I returned to the car after arming it the fob would not disarm the alarm, even though the led on the fob was flashing.. Someone suggested to me that the fob needed to be reprogrammed to talk to the alarm, since I had the battery out of the car .. Is this true and if so how do I re-program it ?
Rgds

They suffer from that. can the battery be replaced?
or is it the early type?
the remotes need reprogramming all the time on the earlier type.
they are usually long and thin . with sigma written across the entire length .
new remmotes are about £30 each and have to be programmed in.
the instructions are rare nowdays. but i have a set
