Sigma Alarm Code

Sigma Alarm Code
Hey Guys ive got a classic impreza and need to know a few things about how to change the code as i don't know the old code, following this:-
"To reset the PIN code:
- Arm and then Disarm the system using a working Radio Key.
- Within 30 seconds of disarming, type into the keypad- *17856*92*wxyz*wxyz# (where wxyz is your new PIN code)
- Arm the system with the Radio Key
- You should now be able to disarm the system using the new PIN code"
It doesn't seem to work, some times the light on the keypad flashes once and sometimes it flashes a few times after you press a digit, does anyone have any experience with these alarms.
Cheers
Karl

Sigma Sam has moved on and no longer posts on SIDC.
However his thread is there and may give you some tips on what you are doing wrong (sounds as if you need a pencil to press the keys)
