i've got a strange bleep from the alarm when starting the car.

when the imobaliser has come on.
i put the key in as normal, turn on the ignition, press the key fob.
then, when i start the engine there is a bleep from the alarm.

the car starts fine !

has anybody had this bleep before and if so, what does it mean.
i can't find anything in the subaru handbook.

No beep on mine,i had a look in the sigma manual it doesnt say anything about beeping on start up
pop to your subaru dealer and ask them

 

strange bleep from siren when cranking is caused by the alarm siren batterys beening flat a long run to charge them will stop this

My scoobs been out of action for about 4 weeks with the battery disconnected.

Would that have probably caused them to go flat ?
