Wow
Quite possibly one of the best adverts I've ever seen.
Stunning car, good luck with the sale, sure it won't hang around for long.

Hi Pez,

Thank you for your comments. Still feel difficult to sell but I just don't have the time to use it properly. Just want it to go to a good home.

Cheers

Mate, you could not possibly be a working man, it must take all your waking hours to keep it that immaculate, unbelievably amazing looking car, if only the funds were available, worth every penny from the pictures and write up.

It's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. The fact you've had no interest is an indication it's well over priced, at the end of the day its just an 18 year old car with some bolt on parts.

My advice is to keep chipping a few quid off your original price until it sells.

It looks like a very clean car and you've put together a good advert, but I'd say it's £5-6k overpriced. I'm not trying to ruin your FS thread, but you did ask for opinions, and this is mine. GLWTS.

It's certainly in nice condition, I'd put it around 9 to 10k if you wanted a quicker sale, it's not one of the most desirable variants, saying that I'm watching the market quite closely and they are not selling that quickly anyway unless very well priced

Keep hold of it for now.... the market for these in Japan has gone mad so that will eventually push the prices up here... you can't import an R for less than 10 large now for instance.

There must be a lot of people loosing money on these then looking at the fresh imports being sold for under 10k

I would keep hold of it though, you'll get to the money your asking for now eventually, prices are climbing still

Where ??? Nice cars with decent miles ???

I keep an eye on the jap auctions and things have gone mad. I very much doubt any are being sent over to our shores as of late.

There are at least 10 on ebay for sale from £7k up to £13k, with some having been on there for while which imo proves the market isn't as strong as people like to make out.

Agreed... the market isn't as strong as some make out, but imo, it's on the way up and the high prices that good classic impreza's are making in Japan will only push the prices up here.... in time ofcourse.

Yes but you'd still be around 11k dependant on the currency fluctuations and most are much lower miles than this particular mileage which warrants the extra money's .you would get a high miler for sub 10k deliverd. .

Trust me... you would not get an R in the condition of the above with sub 70K on the clock imported and on the road here for 10K.

Its not a crazy price, i'd keep listing it and pop it in storage or garage until you sell it. But if you want a quicker sale then drop the price abit.

Looks in amazing condition but getting some one to part with more than 8-10k in hard cash will be pretty tough I imagine for what is essentially just an old Scooby (despite being a very nice one)

I'd say that as you clearly can afford to keep it and store it then your are probably better doing that, give it another 15 years in that condition it might be worth a fortune.

Don't put any more miles on it / get it stored properly & bring it back out in 2026 -
It's a achievement to have brought the car to were it is today / you wil regret selling but if needs must I'd hold out on your price & advertise it worldwide / GLWS
