Stuff then...wiper cowel cleaned up and replaced...
Fixed the rubber in place temporarily with roof tacks...will order some new fixings tomorrow. Bay look OK.
wiper arms were too stone chipped to put back so they got prepped and are drying now.
Found my fuel filter, pump and cradle offered it up and all is well. Need some shims for the narrower filter as the cradle is designed for two pumps

I know, I know...all these updates are a bit much eh!
Wipers back on...got side tracked and ended up spending almost four hours sorting my fixings out after I couldn't find any matching washers for the swirl pot fixings

Micky don't worry that's halfway through paint prep...the bonnet is still in its original g/f unpainted finish.
Boyd is too busy cleaning Ford GTs to worry about my bonnet

With my nuts now in a marvelous state I've found matching kit for the swirl pot and wanged it in place. Also hung the fuel pump/filter combo. No time for plumbing in tonight but I did measure them and now know how big the shim needs to be.
Also notices my butchery of the battery tray and many holes...so I'll clean that up and we'll the holes closed. I think I can remove the washer bottle holder but I'm going to leave it in place; it could make a good base for the Accusump mount
Started messing with the battery relocation and am a bit worried my posts won't be man enough for the job; they are only rated at 150amps (as below)...thoughts and advice gratefully received (please)

Last night all I wanted to do was fix the battery relocation posts in place...two part glue fail; somehow the activator had dried out
Will buy some more today and sort that later...so instead of it being a blow out I trimmed up me box, removing the front tabs and some weird little eyelets; everyone loves a trim box
I noticed the little inset parts where the tabs used to clip on and used them as guides to make even(ish) cut outs for the cables.
Happy with the way it looks. After musch browsing and lookong I ordered a second hand thing from eBay last night too. An evil neccesity that is going to be a pita to fit...

There's only 3 wires! The live and the signal wire, it earths through the box/block.
Trace the highlighted wires back towards the starter, I "think" thats the right one. One is live, the other is earth. Live goes to the back of the starter, earth to the mount at the top of the box.
Signal wire just has a little push fitting attached at the end of it, it's probably just hanging out of the harness near the back of the starter.

Slight redesign of fuel system required; using FPR as a splitter for rails won't work so I need to move it. I also have a -8 fitting not -6 for the pump supply from the swirl pot. More shiny fittings required
I have a number of mystery loom plugs I need help with...where do they go?!
There are a couple more to come, but in the meantime two earths...where do they go?
