Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 - MY00 X Reg
For sale is my Impreza Turbo 2000. I bought the car in 2015 with the idea of getting it back to its former glory, unfortunately I never got round to it so it has spent the past 18 months or so in the garage. As a result it's being sold as a project and will require some "recommissioning" to get it back to use. Having said that, it has recently (23 June) passed its MOT with 1 advisory - Slightly corroded rear brake pipes.
It is currently on 122000 miles. The car has 15 stamps in the book and a number of receipts for work carried out over the last 10 years or so. The last cambelt change was at 99000 miles, however this was in 2008 and so is now overdue.
The body work is not perfect - parking dings and scrapes and also there are 3 patches of rust (one rear arch and either side of the sunroof) the previous owner has tried to rectify, but not done a brilliant job - see photos. Further photos can be provided if required.
The car is based in Bracknell, Berks (RG12).
I am looking for £1,750 but am open to offers. No part exchange or swap.

I've not driven it very far since it's mot but the gearbox engages gears cleanly and no slip from the clutch.
As a service and cambelt change is overdue I've not pushed it too hard, but I've not noticed any issues or unusual behaviour from the engine.

Hi, would you consider swapping the wheels with a bit of cash your way? I have the standard Turbo 2000 16" wheels all with matching Mitchelin Pilot Sport 3's. I'd be willing to travel to you so no effort on your part and I can bring a decent trolley jack and socket set to help out.
