I re-sprayed my wiper arms on sat. They were looking a right state with chips and the paint peeling. Only a little thing I guess but another off the currently long list of to do's for the Car. Not exactly a pro job but good enough.
Did this on mine and might be a small thing, but makes quite a difference to the look of the car, less tatty, and more polished finish.
So did I.
I had them nylon-coated in satin black - look the biz and really freshens the car up.
It's all in the little details....

Nope. No lacquer, just a can of Hell Frauds satin black. job done.
Did you use the normal satin black or the high temp one brown pants? I didn't know which one to use to be honest, I was thinking maybe the high temp version would be a little more hard wearing maybe?
Previous owner painted my wiper arms in what looks like hammerite and judging by the quality seems he used some kind of vegetable as a paint brush!
I really must get around to cleaning them up and respraying as they look shocking.

Just the normal temp off the shelf own brand stuff. No special high temp paint required unless you are planning to drive through a volcano. If so then yes, high temp paint would be better.

I did my tow bar plate in hammerite and instantly regretted it. I'm going to take it off, strip it again and spray properly I think. I'm never going to tow anything, no point it having it an odd shade from the rest of the trimmings etc.
Although at least it's protected from the elements and not a rusting mess like it was.

Make sure it's off properly hammerite reacts with other paints and crinkles if not removed properly
Did you use metal hammerite ? I was gonna use some but won't bother if that's what you used.
Yep metal hammerite. I wouldn't bother to be honest. I'm going to strip mine and do it again in due coarse. Though like I said it looks better than the rusty mess it was, and is at least protected from the elements.
I wanna spray the bar that's attached to my top mount black but one of the bolts refuses to come out because all it does is keep turning. may be a drilling by the looks of things but I'd rather not if I can help it.
both the exact same colour, bit darker than the sti blue, just a bad shadow/lighting in the underground carpark
the suede sti recaros are nice but dont hold you like these, still a bit tame with the bolsters but they are mental money
Aaah right...
The bugeye sti seats are the best in my opinion for holding you in from the three bug blob and hawk
I've never drove or even sat in any evo till this day so don't know how they compare to the bug sti seats
