Ted selling again
been a Long 14month with the BMW 440i had the Mperformance engine upgrade and dont get me wrong its fast, but i find it so dull its time for a change. I tested a Focus RS liked the speed didn't like the bouncing about pogo effect, i did hear you could get a DCA remap for the adaptive dampers but its 1k and with Mountune as well that's another 1k, so i sacked it off. I was also shocked by Ford finance they wanted 10k down for it, as there not geared up for 30k plus cars..
I kept on thinking of what to get, dont wanna boil the ocean as i rarely do 5k a year, so whilst thinking i snagged up a JCW Clubman for the wife, she loves her Cooper S clubman but liked my Old JCWs firey-ness, took a while to find 1 as they have stopped making JCWs till they sort out new emission regs. It comes next week and im having it wrapped in areas to match something we saw online...
When id bought it i wondered next door to Honda and set eyes on the Type-R, always had a soft spot for these since i had a trouble free 3 years with the older 03 model. so as we speak im doing a deal on a white one they have in the showroom, there throwing in 5 years free servicing also and the cost was surprising.
Anyway if that fails for any reason i may just get another JCW Coupe maybe a ragtop but feel a bit girly in the Minis LOL...
Hope your all well, I did also contemplate another A45 but these are also in production hold till facelift arrives, so i thought id hang in with something cheaper till the next breed of Golf A45 etc come out.....
One i did look at and was impressed was the I30N Hyundai great drive and cheapish, but the badge kinda puts me off
anyway chaps good to be back, Fingers crossed that Subaru bring out a new beast

Yes Urban i did and also M4, but as i wanted new due to work related things i didn't want to push the boat out on the payments, thus when i change this i may look at 1, once my 2nd house rent starts coming in i may use some and get 1, but i rarely leave the house these days work at home, so having a 70k car on drive, would on some days annoy me....LOL, but yeah dream car for me would be E63S or C63S coupe, first edition would have been nice but probably missed that boat
Re-Maps i see the 350bhp 1 is only 299 quid, compared to fords Focus 1 at 1k and my A45 at 800. not a bad deal really. I,ll see how this LSD does with traction first, cos on my JCW without LSD it was like having 2 bars of soap on the front, and that was only 231bhp, at least her Clubmans now 4wd

Nice. Cant beat 1st world problems.
The Hondas a bit in your face for me, but a great car. I agree on the FRS3. Its so harsh i never drive ours demo car, i far prefer the M140, but thats just a short arsed faster version of the dull car you just sold. LOL

The typeR is too much in looks department for me.
I drove my mates CLA45 shooting brake other day and was pretty impressed, although I reckon it needs a map to finish it off and would be pretty perfect in the power delivery as through certain ranges it's too buffered kind of thing. But nice all round practical car and cheap to run considering.....

They're a bit OTT, and they're pricey.
I'm not quite sure who they're being aimed at, too pricey for the young lad in his 20's, and probably a bit too much for the 30+ guys
