KentScoobies & Friends KentCoast Charity Drive
Sunday 18th July
The chosen charity is FOND, who support special needs nursery where our son Jake attends - which is run almost entirely on fundraising - if they need any equipment for the children, they have to fundraise for it. This nursery is specially for disabled children and helps them deal with their disability in the real world, and gets them used to a school environment - it is run by volunteers who give up their time to work with these children.
If it wasn't for this nursery, Jake would probably still be terrified of everything & anything...
Even though Jake departs from this nursery in September, we are still doing this for them because I think they do a great job, and there are still lots of disabled children that need their help and support.
We have some confirmed sponsors, including Prodrive, Japanese Performance magazine & a local newspaper....still awaiting replies from other sources
I have sponsor forms, if you would like to join us please contact me & I will mail you one, or I will be at Southend and other upcoming meets....
Times & meeting places to be mailed the week before the event...
We will print route maps for everyone, so no excuses for getting lost

Cheers for that Titchy
Must be a hell of a pile of orders to bury you
I have spoken to Knowlsey at Xtreme Scoobies, and they have donated a Hayward & Scott backbox (Classic or new-age, depending who wins the auction) - look out for the auction thread coming soon

Hales - will do
Right people - They will be coming to the Posers Tour to Brighton on the 26th June to take photographs for their magazine - the magazine goes to all the subaru dealerships, as well as other car dealerships, national newspapers etc... so it we make it a good one, we might even get into the newspapers

Did the test run today and it's a good run, a bit of everything included - tunnels, twisties, roundabouts, fast roads, posing roads and there's even a jump for the brave ones
It's aprox. 180 miles round trip from The Wharf & back via - Medway services, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Pegwell Bay (BBQ stop possibly), Deal, Dover, Folkestone, Hythe, Dymchurch and New Romney. We found plenty of petrol stations & pit stops on the way, so no excuses
