Crawley Tsunami Fundraising Cruise 26 Feb **Some Pics Added**
http://www.crawleycruisemessageboard....co.uk/ftf.jpg
CRAWLEYCRUISE.CO.UK are proud to announce the first LEGAL cruise of 2005.
Its now our turn to help raise money for the Tsunami/Earthquake appeal.
The event is to be held at the usual location of County Oak Retail Park. There will be official collection boxes from DEC, OXFAM, and UNICEF at the entrance, waiting to collect a requested amount of £2 per car. These boxes will also be floating around through out the night, should you wish to make any more greatly appreciated donations.
Confirmed attendees for the night include members of the local press and car magazines, aswell as Top models for photos with you and your car. £5 will get you 2 high quality pictures.
As this is a legal cruise there are a few rules we need people to adhere to:
Please don’t litter. Bins will be provided, please use them.
Burnouts, donuts and speeding etc will not be accepted, as it may result in the event being closed down. This will also severely jeopardise any hopes we have of making this a regular legal cruise.
We’ve done the leg work, now it’s up to you, the cruisers, to make this a success.
After the great turn out in January, we hope to have the same numbers of 300 cars plus at the event. Making a Target of £1000 reachable for this much needed appeal.
Remember it is £2 to enter the car park.
Cruise Held At County Oak Retail Park Crawley Convoys From:
Place:
J11 Southbound M23
Peace Pottage Services.
Leaving time of 7.30pm.
The "HALFORD CAR PARK" is ready from 7pm, but to allow the stands to be put up, we will get there later.

From: West Sussex-Scoob stripped :( Hello Audi A6 4.2V8 Quattro :)
Am I too old for this?????????????????
Has any scooby owner gone to this meet before?
If so what is the night like?
If it's CHAV city then I'll end up smacking someone.......................but hey it's for charity pop pickers........................................... ............I'll pay £2 to smack a CHAV.
I'll go if a few other scoobs go along

Unfortunatly "Chav cars" are like deseases u can never keep them away. but there are normally a number highly modified japaneese turn ups. i know that the GTIROC,MR2OC and SupraOC are going to be attading this one. I think we need to go and represent... All are welcome and after all itz for a good cause and maybe time we put some names to faces.

Seriously, we have the undoubted pleasure of "a vision of beauty" (as described on SIDC) Catwoman in her black WRX who will be in convoy with myself to Pease Pottage. Also the wonderful Julie (ScoobyJ) will be meeting us all at Pease Pottage in her blue 04 WRX STI PPP. So to some up, 3 fast ish cars, 2 beautiful women and an old bald git will see you at 7.30.

Wouldnt say it was a great turnout, weather probably didnt help!
A bit disappointed with the lack of " proper cars ", mainly Corsas, Pugs, Saxos, you get the picture! All with half a tonne of " ICE " installed!
There was a couple of nice Skylines, couple of Evos, Escort Cossie, sprinkling of Supras, but that was about it!
Wasnt impressed with the D***S that were charging about the place on Monkey Bikes, some came off them a couple of times, a bit too close to the cars for comfort, think this needs to be addressed for next time!
As for the T**T in the Sapphire Cossie who was doing dougnuts outside Halfords, get a life mate, there is a time and place and it certainly aint in a car park full of kids and cars!
All in my opinion of course!
