South East Meet!
#1
Hi people,
Okay, as many of you know, there aren't many SouthEast meets for those of us who live in the true South East
The nearest meet is the Quays meet which is about 1.5-2 hrs away. As this is such a good meet, I wouldn't want to organise anything that would conflict with this.
I am however, considering proposing a Canterbury meet on the Fourth Sunday of every month as opposed to the Quays meet which is every second Sunday. The Venue, as yet undecided, would more than likely be the Punch (Brewers Fayre) between Canterbury and Herne Bay. There seems to be a lot of interest from the local owners I've spoken too and I'm wondering whether any of you from further afield would be interested in coming along to these, even those of you who are Quays regulars!
The Venue is just off the A299 which is the end part of the M2 and is approximatel 40 minutes from the Dartford Tunnel.
Anyone interested in something like this on a regular basis?

Nice one guys thanx for your support
Jay...they might actually start enjoying these meets They usually get together and go on about how sad we all are anyway!!
Right, I'd love to organise the first one this month but unfortunately I've just found out that I won't be here for it, but next month looks good.
I'll keep you all posted on developments

Nitosser, Pasta Boy....
Well, when you finally manage to organise you life I'll be there, just remember you're going to Italy next month as well for about two/ three weeks, so maybe should seriously consider organising this for May, instead of organising it for April, realising you can't do that either, and cancelling, again.
If you need me to help, you know where I am.
I have to say it'll be most excellent to see all you guys down our way for a chance.
Be Cool.

Rich and P1 Media,
Nice to know there are more SE owners lurking about. Do you guys fancy convoying up to the quays meet with us (jct 4a M3)on Sunday. This is always an excellent meet with a top venue, very picturesque to, with usually about 40-50+cars turning up. This meet will also be a bit special as there is a raffle for charity with decent prizes.
I'm doing the ringing around to arrange this convoy today and tomorrow so if you're interested drop me a mail or a ring on 01843 602334 or even respond on here!
I'm looking to leave Thanet at 9.30 sharp so that we can get to the Quays for about 11.45 (by the time we meet everyone en-route) and will then meet up with other cars along the way.
Regards,
Nito
