As sugested from 'was it you'. I thought a new meet in West Sussex would be good.
There seems to be a fair few Scoobs around the Crawley/Horsham area and I'am told there used to be a meet at Pease Pottage services so, How about resurrecting it?
A suggestion of dates would be good!!
Iain.

Hi again!
Just posted a message in was it you.
Like I said there a sussex meeting would be good. How about the first bank holiday weekend in may? I could try and get an advert put up at Lockyear cars to see if anyone going in there was interested.
A meeting up my road would be good to really p*** people off who think my exhaust is noisy!
Cheers Col

Dyney,
Sounds like a good idea. I've not been to a meet yet but I'm in the West Sussex area and wouldn't mind getting together with some other scooby owners.
I'm not going to be able to do the 1st May bank holiday because I'll be away in the Scoob on holiday
I'll keep looking in and see when its on.

Well at least theres some intrest, but if thats it we could do an evening thing. Stay dry and have a few lemonades.
Any coments?
This would be for any petrolheads not just scooby nuts (unless you've got a Ford or a Vax'all)!!
Come on if your not a member here get on and leave a post. We don't bite (hard)
Iain.
Ps. Stupot what are you driving?
I'll keep'em peeled for you too.

Stupot...have u heard from ptholt recently? Has he still got his scoob? I won't tell u where I last bumped into him! Sorry Pete!

Any weekend or evening is good for me. Pease Pottage takes bugger all time to get to and as i'm new to the Scooby game it would be cool to check out some other motors and get some tips.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for you guys. Mine's the Green '95 UK Turbo with the 16" gold STI wheels and the big black ba***rd drivin it!!!
To give us a bit of organising time I agree wil Col Stone and reackon that the first weekend bank holiday in May would be good.

ahhhh its nice to see so many people talking about me
hi folks, i've still got the scoobs, had a nice test drive in a new M3 and was VERY tempted to get rid till they told me they had a two year waiting list!
I'm far too impatient for that.
Why on earth didnt we pick the easter weekend to meet cos i'll be in sunny florida from the 4th May so won't be able to meet up with you all on the 6th
The sussex meets tend to be good fun, providing one of the organisers is not on call eh stu
We havent had the new sprog yet stupot, gimme a chance !
p.s. the biplane spoiler has/is about to be replaced so you might not recognise me anymore hehe
pete - 98 sti 5, lary exhaust, lary spoiler on the back, lary driver inside

Sunday 6th of May is fine by me. Lots of Scooby's & some beer. What could be better!!!?
There's a couple of guys around Horsham and Crawley who I know with scooby's, i'll let them know.
A time would be good. I think the interest will be a lot higher if everyone know exactly when to meet. That also means that people who want to advertise like Col Stone can get started.
By the way, Dyney are you the official organiser of this thing??? In my experience people need someone to take the lead when something like this needs to be organised otherwise it tends to go **** up !!!

I'm not going to be able to make the 6th May because I'll be away on holiday. I'll look out for the next one though.
Week-nights are generally best for me because I'll be playing cricket on the weekends soon (unless it's still raining )

Well looks like I'm oganising this, though was hopeing someone else would take the ball and run with it!(As my manager keeps saying)
Looks like out of the 10+ people interested 3+ can't make it so how about an evening meet soon, aswell as the 6th May as I'm sure alot of people have plans.
How does Tue 17th April sound?(Criticism welcome'ish)
Bit short notice but if we're all locals it doesn't take much to drop in and say HI!!
Venue T.B.A soon(When I think of one)
Now someone said something about time on the 6th!!! I think 1 o'clocks usually good (works for Surrey meet)
I'll be there as I have worked it so I'm not on Shift (Oh and I'm organising it) Might even bring the misses
Trying to accommodate everyone, but looking forward to it.
Iain.

I've got plans for the 17th but nothing that can't be re-arranged. I'm thinking pub, beer, laugh. Anyone else on my wavelength??
As it's an evening thing it makes sense to meet somewhere indoors where there's beer!!! We can always bugger off somewhere else afterwards.
Somewhere with a good sized carpark would be good like maybe the Frogs Hole in Maidenbower, The Hawth Inn/Jeffersons on the Hawth Roundabout in Crawley. If you want you could meet in the Smith and Western in Horsham, that way I only need to drive for about 10 seconds to get there.
If your looking for another car park how about the big one of the London Road in the Manor Royal Industrial estate (Crawley) where PC World and Halfords is. Its got cover if it rains as well.
Hope these ideas help and that I don't sound to much like an alcoholic.
By the way does anyone else have as much trouble remembering who drives what!!! TOO MANY PEOPLE, TOO MANY CARS AAAHHH !!!! Bugger it if I see another scooby i'll just wave.

It all sounds good.
Im up for the 6th May, 1 pm at pease pottage! Will get a poster up at the weekend (If the garage lets me!) Just need to book good weather.
As for the 17th will have to see if I can borrow the wife's car. As I won't have the WRX back from having it's new front spolier fitted! Unless we met at the Frog Hole Farm then I could walk!
Cheers hope to see you all soon

Dyney,
You'll probably see me pass there quite often as I live directly opposite (Handy for major munchies!!!) Hey if you drive a silver scooby you don't live of Pondtail Rd as I remember seeing one pulling in there from Warnham Rd.
There is another guy who lives in our group of flats that drives a blue STI wagon with gold wheels. If he uses this site that would be really freaky.
Still up for the 6th May and the 17th if a venue gets organised.
Peace
Maffa

Sorry, been off line for a few days.
17th is still on.
Frogshole farm, Maidenbower village say 7.30pm.
Had a drive by today good size car park and benchs out side if its not raining.
If anyone wants to meet up for a convoy or doesn't know where it is call me on 07968 804111 anytime during the day.
Maffa, it could have been me sometimes use it to cut out the traffic lights. But I'm not in Pondtail Road. Tell you in person on the 17th.
Iain.

I've got a cricket club committee meeting tonight so I might not be able to make it.
I'll try and pop into the Frogshole farm on the way home and see if anybody is still around. Could be around 10.30om though.
