Not content with buying half the Premiership Chelsea are now in for Mutu the first Pokemon character to play in the Premiership, rumours are rife that they will make a solid bid for Pikachu (sp) but they are bulking at its £100m price tag, Nintendo have refused to comment.....

 

 

Someone's been telling you porkies chap. Everyone knows that Pikachu is favourite to land the Jordan drive in 2004, and will be announced at the Italian Grand Prix, as soon as Fisichella's move to Sauber is made official.

Apparently Eddie Jordan reckons the perky superhero will fit perfectly into Fisi's shoes (they're about the same height after all), as well as enhancing the team's appeal in the Far East.

The fact that he's already yellow will also save the cash-strapped team a fortune in racewear...

BTW, Munkii, you spelt Pikachu right, but got "baulk" wrong...
