Football mascots. Don't you just love 'em?
Well I do. They make me laugh, rather like the old "It's a knock out" used to. I love to see 'em taking, or trying to save, penalties etc.
Anyway, if anyone is following, or will be following, the new series of "Mike Bassett, football manager", in the third episode, to be shown on 13th October, Mike actually has a fight with the S****horpe United mascot, "Scunny Bunny".
Worth a look, or so I'm told

Aye, couple of seasons back Chaddy the Owl (Oldham Athletic) had a barney with the Bloomfield Bear (Blackpool) and the Chaddy nicked his boots and chucked them into the crowd then we had to give a formal appology because the guy in the bear suit lost the fight and threw a paddy, his dad gave an interview saying how shook up his son was, Woos, dont mess with the Owl

The ones I mean are the 6 foot Rabbits etc in Giant footy kits, with daft names like Scunny Bunny, Chad the Owl, Mooie the cow etc etc....
A couple had a barney at Scunny once, but darned if I can remember who it was, it made the Sun though
