BRAND NEW G5 DRIVER FROM PING GOLF!!!

The 460cc titanium head
features new internal weighting distribution that repositions the center of gravity for lower spin rates and greater distance. Eight grams of weight was moved from the crown and face to the sole to achieve the lower CG location.

New face geometry
ensures high ball speed for maximum distance. Similar in shape to the popular G2 driver, the confidence-inspiring head provides fairway-finding forgiveness and includes a thinner moon-graphic alignment aid.

Sole:

Robotic plasma welding process saves weight which is redistributed throughout the club head to improve stability, forgiveness and control
Setup:

460cc head size
Material removed from low stress areas in the crown is repositioned in the sole, lowering the center of gravity for reduced spin and increased distance

Face:

The variable thickness face is precision machined for increased performance and durability
Variable face geometry helps optimize the center of gravity location by redistributing material from low stress areas of the face. The precision of the welding process allowed the Ping engineers to reposition four grams of weight on the sole to further reduce spin
Robotic plasma welding produces very accurate and consistent welds, which improve the consistency and durability of the face

Toe:

Lofts have been modified to enhance launch characteristics of the club head for maximum distance
Grip:

PING 703 Tear Drop grip has a tacky feel for positive control of the golf club
Shafts:

Aldila NV65 Graphite Shaft
Exclusive Micro Laminate Technology offers enhanced performance
Consistent taper and slim profile produces consistent performance, flex and feel
PING TFC 100D Graphite Shaft
Lightweight, high performance shaft for maximum distance
Designed to complement the G2 driver
Grafalloy Pro-Launch 65 Shaft
7.5° & 8.5° ONLY AVAILABLE IN RIGHT HAND

X-STIFF SHAFTS ARE AN OPTION, CALL FOR AVAILABILITY

good club, cabrera uses it. not sure if its any better than the new taylormade R7 though. I use the new mizuno 460cc - superb. to be honest if your handicap is higher than 14 then you might as well buy a srixon or something.

I have good taylor made irons but I had my first golf lesson in about 12 years last week and the pro laughed himself silly at me being the only man on the course with a wooden driver I will probably find soon that I can hit the wooden driver further and straighter.
