Post Is Souness out if we don't beat the Mackems?

As the title suggests I think Freddie Shepherd might wield the axe if we don't turn them over on Sunday. We need a good performance tho.

he's swimming with sharks if they don't win, would be a little harsh though IMHO as he has not had enough time and plenty of players have been out injured.

Me For half of what he gets paid.

It's a must win game, for too many Mackems where I work for my liking so we've got to turn them over by at least 2 goals IMHO just to shut them up.

It looks like Owens not going to be fit, so I'd give Chopra a chance to start cos Shola clearly isn't up to the job.

God I hope it's all hype about Owen's injury
Ameobi and Faye on the pitch and we are effectively playing with 9 men

If Shola does start then its an opportunity to make a hero of himself, please God.

Now Souness has got 'his team,' sure he's been unlucky with injuries but still don't think he's the man for the job.
Everybody has said if Owen gets injured who is going to replace him and look whats happened, badk to square 1 again.

........and I still can't find my keys

I hate to say it but I don't think Shola will ever cut it as a striker in the top flight. He tries hard enuff, but I'm not sure that he's actually got the talent required. Thats why I think Chopra should get a bit of a run in the team if Owens out.

PS Richie in work during daylight hours shocker!!!!!!!!!

dont call him shamiobi for nothing micky think your spot on there, if he was going to be as good as he hype's him self up to be would have shown it by now after all he's 22 been playin first team football since he was 17-18, players usually have made the break though by now.

Finally someone that agrees with me. He's not the finished article and never will be. Tries hard and works for the team, but talent is needed. In a lower division I've no doubt he'd be a 20-30 goal a season striker, but not in the PL.

One problem that i've seen, (excuse me cos I'm not a season ticket holder, Richie can correct me if I'm wrong), but he gets in decent positions BUT he just hasn't got a decent shot in him. Just not PL quality

You're not wrong, last time I saw him play, Owen set him up and he missed from about 5 yards
This lead to me shouting a very loud "you ******* muppet" leading to much amusement to the others around me

Heard a load of Geordies started to fight amonst themselves, they were going to start on the Mackems but like their team it would have been no contest.

Just to add all those involved in any bother are a load of ******* morons and have no right to call yourselves Toon supporters

Yip, I'll sort of agree with that. Been that long since I've been to the pig market tho.

Seem to remember rioting when we got beaten in a cup final? But FFS, going off when we win is a fcukin joke. Too many fcukwits prancin about with toon tops on who probly couldn't even name the manager, and just lookin for a reason to fight. Well if any of them are able to read and see this:

CRAWL BACK UNDER THE F.UCKING STONE WHERE YOU BELONG

No time for wankas like that.

Still gettin unconfirmed sightings of a hooligan blob-eye driver tho

only jokin richie.
