Talking JT's Star Jump Defending

I saw them talking about this on Sky Sports news, I think it was Keith Hackett, he said it was the new craze, so when Everton were attacking terry was just inside his area and to put the Everton player off he does a star jump, the Everton player the tries to pass the ball forward and it strikes Terry's forearm, ball to arm, no penalty.

Should it have been??, the laws state no, a very clever if not cheeky idea but if every defender starts doing it they have to make an addition to the rules, it'd be like a load giant Chickens flapping around the penalty area

somebody show me in the rules this fabled 'ball to hand' rule? Arm out away from the body, ball hits it, advantage gained by defending team. Foul or Penalty if in the area.

Thats how I understand it, as a defender (albeit sunday league) you stick your hand out you run the risk of giving a penalty away.... especially with some of the shocking decisions the refs in sunday leagues give
