Lightbulb Man U `vs` Chelsea

Should be a good match, Man U are putting quite a good team out today. I still think Chelsea will win but im predicting the quality from Man U will be alot better than recent games. Well lets bloody hope so! Some defending would be nice! Strong attacking section though.

looks like a win for Man U 1-0 with only extra time to play

Good match, fast paced too. Attacking for Chelsea just wasnt working i thought. About time Man U won again!

I wouldnt quite go that far - 1 result doesnt mean we are out of a slump. Just annoying that we have to play you to start playing properly.

Whats that, 3 losses and a draw for you in the last 4 games?

Simon.

LOL, talking of Wigan, it was pointed out to me today that had the match between Wigan and Chelsea at the very start of the season (in which Wigan were better on the day) ended in a win for Wigan, then both teams would now be equal on points, Wigan with a game in hand

John Terry looked a little upset at losing the unbeaten run .

Cheering on Man Utd is not something I like doing (in the PL) - but I've got to cheer on Newcastle next

The League needed Chelsea to stop winning all the time - If nothing else to stop smug tossers coming onto internet forums and lourding it over everybody else

Scored 28 goals in the Premiership, Lampards scored 10, so................... "we have plenty of other players to score" .

Lampards top of the scoring charts, who else stands out in other teams then?

I was only saying that nobody else stands out as an obvious scorer after those two.

why did he not play Gudjohnsen from the start? He always causes us problems. when he came on he changed the shape of the game.

Dont know mate, Gudjohnsen rarely starts nowadays, he's not the quickest but has some nice touches, and as you say, usually cause' you trouble.

Though Drogba is a it more "in yer face" which was proably better in that sort of match, thats when he's not falling over all the time

I would have thought though it would have been an ideal time to play a 4-4-2 and take it to us. More a 4-4-1-1 with EG in the hole. although Smith played well he could have looked to exploit his inexperience there.

Not wishing injury on a player but I would be interested to see how you would perform without Lampard.

Got to see it on ESPN Brazil before I left, it made the 25 hour trip home easier

Still not convinced by Utd by a long shot
