14th place is really something to laugh about.

Played us off the park? Give me a break.

We had double the amount of chances as you, and missed a spot kick, and that's playing without passion nor motivation.

Second place in the Premiership, Champions League football next season, plus a Carling Cup - you'll never get close to that. Harsh, but very true.

Wasn't the best of performances by us, but as mantionned above, where were the Boro fans then? Chap sat not so far from me reckoned he counted 291 of 'em (before some got removed from the ground).

**** me, that's nearly as many as turned up at Anfield.

Must be something to do with the distance involved Never seems to bother the Mackems or the Barcodes though

OOOOOOO, yes the Carling Cup!! ...... you beat Wigan - OOOOOOOO, Fantastic!

Tell you what? We did that a couple of years ago .... now we lift the UEFA Cup - we have moved on ....

Unlike Man. Utd. and Newcastle who are stuck in the past

Our reserves were thrashing you .... I missed the end as I got ejected!!

Moved on to what? 14th in the Premiership?

A few lucky wins against fellow poor teams in Europe and you're starting to think you're actually quite good. What a joke.

So you were one of the two the stewards removed towards the end then? Which one were you, the first one to go, or the second one who seemed to put up a bit of resistance, or was it some other time that I missed?

It'll do, until next season. Diarra & Riquelme = a complete team.

Oh, and one more thing...

Missed your reserves hanging on and wasting as much time as possible then.

Funny, it takes me 30mins to get back on matchday, Boro is a 2.5hr drive away on a good day, and you got back before me to post this thread. What time did they eject you?

On the contrary .... I was born and bred on the terraced back streets of Middlesbrough and used to sneak into Ayresome Park to watch them play.

I may have moved away but I am, without doubt, a Boro Lad!!

As you say, Man. Utd. have fans who have never been anywhere near Manchester! - I'm not one of those!

I can verify that Pete is indeed a Boro lad! He knows all about the area's only redeeming features - Lemontops and Petch's Pies!

Cheers
