Why exclude Celtic?
That's the same as asking what Sir Alex has done in his career excluding Manchester United.
O'Neil has progressed as a top class manager, and he'll certainly prove such when he makes the decision to return to management - I'd have taken O'Neil over McClaren for England.

In that case, why did Chelsea bring in Mourinho from Porto, and why did Liverpool bring in Benitez from Valencia?
You can't discount an individual's success simply because it was based in another league or country.

Porto and Valencia compete in competitive leagues. Celtic compete in the SPL. If it was so great, then why along with Rangers, are Celtic so desperate to leave? Enough said.

You can have the exact same view of the Premiership - dominated by Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea in past years, especially so considering the number of teams in the league, compared with the SPL.
Besides, I've never stated that it's a great league.

If it was a great league (and it isn't which's why I dismiss both Rangers and Celtic), they would stay and be happy. Celtic are a biggish fish in a tiny pond. Until they start to win on a bigger stage, they'll always remain so. They don't even make the top 15 of the richest Clubs in the World - or the top 15 of the UEFA rankings.
Newcastle Utd do of course!

So rich yet so unsuccessful
And if they are in the top 15 clubs in Europe they need to look at the system

Huth, 21, has been linked with a move to Wigan and Everton, but looks headed for Boro after they agreed an undisclosed fee with Chelsea.
No mention of NUFC. It's very rare we go for players The Smogs are linked with. Wonder why that is...?
